The Poughkeepsie Community Hebrew School, which rents our classrooms for language classes, is holding a car wash Sunday in our parking lot, right after the 10:00 service. Each year the Jewish Community has Mitzvah Day on which they perform a mitzvot (good deed) in return for something they received. This year, they would like to show their appreciation to Messiah for the use of our space by donating all proceeds from the car wash to our food pantry. A few of our parish families are joining them in this effort. So plan on “killing two birds with one stone,”—get your car washed for $5.00 and support our food pantry!
