Our new Rector is starting August 1st. We will have supply priests for the months of June and July. Officiating today is The Rev. Canon Elliott Lindsley. June 13th—The Rev. There will not be a charge to attend VBS, but we will have a free will offering. As in the past, lunch will be served. Online registration is not set up yet, but there are paper registration forms available. See Laurie Craft. Join us in the Parish Hall this Friday, June 11th from 6:30- 8:30 PM as we gear up for Vacation Bible School. At our last Family Night Out, we made lots of colorful decorations to create our Egyptian setting. The results were fantastic banners, hieroglyphics, palm trees, and a sarcophagus. We even wrapped a [...] All acolytes are invited to an “Acolyte Only Make a Banner” meeting this Sunday at 5:00 pm in the Parish Hall. We will be making your portion of the Prayers of the People Banner that will drape the ceiling of the church as our new rector enters for his first service. The Baptist Home is compiling a list of people who might be able to pick up residents at the Baptist Home and bring them to Messiah for services and then take them back to the Baptist Home. This would be on an “on call” basis, not a regularly scheduled task.
