We are a Dutchess County coalition comprised of several local organizations. Our mission is Creating Assets Savings and Hope, CASH-Coalition. Our goal is to ensure working, low-income families receive free, reliable tax preparation and obtain federal and state earned income tax credits. The Mid-Hudson Antislavery History Project works to call attention to this neglected aspect of our past. The lecture will focus on their goals and accomplishments to date. Jay announced three recommendations regarding how we can try to protect ourselves from the expected H1N1 (commonly called swine flu) virus. Jesus fed 5000 but we here at Messiah feed 8 elderly Nicaraguan women throughout the year thanks to the generosity of our parishioners. Not as miraculous but to these 8 ladies every bit their miracle.
