Harpers and Harpists from across the northeast will be gathering to participate in a Harps for Whole Communities Benefit Concert on Thursday, July 9 at 6:30 pm at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 3021 Route 213 East, Stone Ridge, NY. Professional musicians playing large harps, small harps, gut harps, wire harps, pedal harps, and lever harps will join together to present an informal Harp-Circle Concert of varied repertoire including Celtic airs and dance tunes, medieval modes, New Age mists and classical counterpoint. A suggested donation of $20 will benefit the Church of Christ the King and its new weeklong, bilingual summer camp for children ages 4-11 that will be held August 24-28.
