Rhinebeck Rotary Partners with Rebuilding Together Dutchess County to Launch Program Designed to Assist Rhinebeck Seniors

Are you a senior citizen who just needs a little assistance to make your home a safer place or to help you continue living independently? At the Rhinebeck Rotary, we are here to help. As part of the new partnership between Rebuilding Together Dutchess County and the Rhinebeck Rotary Club, we have developed a Senior Home Assistance Program (SHAP). SHAP is designed to assist senior citizens with minor jobs around the house that can be difficult for them to do on their own. The goal is to help seniors maintain independence in their own homes by helping them complete tasks such as changing hard-to-reach light bulbs, repairing leaky faucets and clogged drains, installing grab bars and handrails, as well as other minor maintenance jobs.
