As part of the new partnership between Rebuilding Together Dutchess County and the Rhinebeck Rotary Club, we have developed a Senior [...] [ May 21, 2009; 11:30 am; ] Please join us for lunch on Thursday, May 21st between 11:30 and 1:00 and bring your friends. The Vestry is deeply concerned with our budget shortfall and will be contacting parishioners in the weeks ahead to seek their support. [ May 3, 2009; 11:30 am; ] The Poughkeepsie Community Hebrew School, which rents our classrooms for language classes, is holding a car wash Sunday in our parking lot, right after the 10:00 service. Each year the Jewish Community has Mitzvah Day on which they perform a mitzvot (good deed) in return for something they received. Our annual flea market will be held on May 9th, the Saturday before Mother’s Day. This year they have asked if they can make the trip a regional event and open it to all the parishes in the Mid-Hudson Region of our Diocese. The trip will take [...] [ May 16, 2009; 10:15 am; ] The celebration of Bishop Taylor’s retirement at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine is being held at 10:15 on May 16. Bishop Taylor has asked especially that an invitation be extended to members of the Church of the Messiah. Several people are planning to go down. If you would like to consider carpooling, call [...] [ April 16, 2009; 11:30 am; ] The Third Thursday Lunch is on Thursday, April 16th, and benefits the Red Hook Community Center, which provides many services for adults in the community. Drop in between 11:30 and 1:00 for a delicious meal of soup, sandwich and homemade dessert. Choose between beef with barley and cream of mushroom soup, turkey salad, philly cheese [...] [ April 12, 2009; 11:15 am; ] The Egg Hunt will take place after the 10:00 service on the lawn outside the Parish Hall (weather permitting).
