About the Church of the Messiah
We at Messiah are called to share the joy in our hearts. We seek to live in the power of the Spirit, welcoming all into our parish family. We strive to be a community where people are both comforted by God’s love and challenged to live lives of service in the world. We meet for service at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. every Sunday (recordings of the services may be found on Panda 23, Northern Dutchess County’s public access station). We also have a Holy Communion service most Thursdays at 9 a.m. (please see calendar). We’re located at the corner of Montgomery Street (Rt. 9) and Chestnut Street in Rhinebeck Village, two blocks north of East Market Street.
Whoever you are and wherever you’re from, you are welcome in God’s house. We greet you with the hand of fellowship and the assurance of acceptance in our midst. Please join us, even if you’re just in town for the day!
Introducing Reverend Jay Hanson, our Interim Rector
